BIO

A lot can be said about this new kid on the block that’s soon to be ruffling feathers but one thing
that cannot be said about Shock is that he lacks lyrical content. Growing up on 90’s and early
00’s hardcore east coast rap music, it’s not hard to tell where Shock totes his authentic and
grimy rap style from. That same rap style is oft compared to an artist in his veteran years though
Shock recently started taking his craft seriously in September of 2019.

Shock was born on February 14, 1997 on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, in Salisbury, but has
spent much time in Wilmington, DE and Philadelphia, PA upon graduating high school – making
the latter two his “second home”. Having rough upbringings is partly the source of what fuels
Shock to turning his musical craft into an inspiration and hopes to grow his brand, along with L.
Black Da EastCoast Bully, to help inspire a much larger crowd. Shock burst onto the scene in
early October and released his debut single “Intro” on YouTube which garnered almost 10,000
views. Shock thus followed up with the biggest hit of his pre-mature career with “Breathe Easy”,
featuring L. Black Da EastCoast Bully, which has garnered over 42,000 views, in one month, on
YouTube and still exponentially growing. The hit has even sparked a meeting with Dj Absolut in
New York City.

On January 18, 2020 Shock had a successful first performance opening for Joell Ortiz, in Bronx,
NY, at SBK 2 nd Generation. His performance was so thrilling it received the attention of
underground Philly rap legend, Shelliano. Shock and BullySquad also have a show booked
during SXSW Music Week in Austin, Texas this March. To help expand the Shock and
BullySquad brand, more shows and connections are looking to be made in this young artist’s
career. With so much accomplished in less than 5 months, the sky is the limit for Shock.
